Foolish
'In Times Square, hundreds watched the pomp of a full-scale British royal celebration Friday on a Jumbotron as Prince William said "I do" to his princess, Kate Middleton...."This is a once in a lifetime event for a five-year-old," said Michael Zorek, of the Upper West Side, whose overjoyed daughter Diana woke early and dressed as a princess, complete with tiara, for the occasion.'

Someday My Prince Will Come
I've listened to this song 100's of times, I've even seen it live. This morning on the way to work, Miles Davis's rendition came on Pandora. I've always been under the impression this was a Dave Brubeck song, but I decided to Google it to for kicks. It turns out it's a song from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Dave Brubeck was the first musician to usher the song into Jazz on the album Dave Digs Disney (inspired by an anthology of Disney tunes owned by his kid). It's popular among jazz musicians, covered by the likes of Dave Brubeck, Miles Davis, Bill Evans, and Herbie Hancock. It always interesting to find out a song is a cover, I see it through a whole different lens.
Check out a few of the renditions:
