1st Post
I recently had a conversation with a friend about how there are only a few bands today (living and touring) that I really feel connected to. I don't mean this in the sense that I want hold a seance and and get Jim James on my ouija board; more that every time you watch them perform you're not just nodding your head in agreement but sort of loose yourself in the performance. You find your mind wandering around the stage memorized by the axe work, completely captivated by the harmony, knowledge, creativity, the authenticity of it all. You think to yourself, this guy is like the Spock of guitar players but probably drinks a little more whiskey. But then you'll turn to your buddy and it will come out. "dude, this is fucking awesome." What I'm trying to say is I'm not really getting all that from Kesha and it's nice to see once in a while.
Anyway, I was at this concert last summer and MMJ is "fucking awesome."
